DESCRIPTION
Our compostable heat-shrink film is a great alternative to plastic shrink film. It is made from PLA (polylactic acid), a compostable plant-based biopolymer derived from renewable materials.

Can you customize the printing and design?
Since heat-shrinkable film shrinks when heated, we need to conduct more tests on the printing. When you have a design, our designers and engineers will provide support. -
How should it be disposed of?
The film is certified compostable in industrial composting facilities, breaking down into water, carbon dioxide, and biomass within 180 days. Under suitable conditions and depending on its thickness, it can also decompose in home composting environments. It should not be disposed of in plastic recycling bins. Businesses are encouraged to clearly label disposal instructions for end-users. -
What’s the shelf life and how should I store it?
Shelf life is 10 months from delivery. Store in a cool, dry, and shaded environment, ideally below 30°C, to maintain its compostability and sealing performance. -
Is the film suitable for automated packing machines?
Yes. Thanks to its excellent heat sealing performance, Naturepoly’s compostable heat-shrink film is ideal for automated flow pack machines used in food and retail sectors. -
